Catering services introduced in 1970 . In 1982 the company became Angkasa
Citra Sarana and well known with its brand name Aerowisata Catering Service (ACS).
The International standards catering service division included three strategic
business units (SBU), namely the in-flight catering, in-flight logistics and
industrial catering. In-flight catering service introduced in 1973 and now
serving more than 30 airlines, both domestic and international.
ACS operates in almost all big airports in Indonesia. ACS services included
domestic and international flights, charter flights, VVIP flights, as well as
special flights such as Hajj flights and others.
To support its services, ACS operates modern kitchens in Jakarta, Denpasar,
Surabaya, Medan, Batam, Makassar, and Balikpapan. These kitchens with a joint
production capacity of up to 69.500 food dishes per day and with experienced
world class cooks, are able to serve more than 400 flights a day with varying
menus, from Indonesian, Chinese, Japanese, to continental foods.
ACS uses only fresh and good quality vegetables and the best local and imported
food and drinks to create high quality dishes . All food and beverage are
processed under strict supervision from the Quality Assurance Division, to
ensure cleanliness, health, and quality, and consumable according to the
international food safety standards. To ensure the cleanliness, health and
safety of the food presented, ACS applied the very strict standard operation
procedures according to ISO 9001-2000, which included HACCP (Hazard Analysis
Critical Control Points) certification. Whereas to guarantee its religious
safety, ACS holds a ‘Kosher Certificate” (Sertifikat Halal) from Indonesian
Islamic Board ( Majelis Ulama Indonesia /MUI).
