ACS Earns Gold Medal

ACS' Kitchen Team earns 1 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal at the 2005 Food & Hotel Exhibition Salon Culinaire, held at the Pekan Raya Jakarta Arena Kemayoran 6 - 9 April 2005.

The competition's contestants includes experienced Chefs from various 5 star hotels in Jakarta and other major cities, including Grand Hyatt, Aston, Park Lane, JW Marriot, Sari Pan Pacific, Sahid and other well known hotels.

Team ACS Jakarta with only 10 days of preparation, consists of:

• Purbo Waluyo (sushi competition and vegetable carving),
• Handayani (rijstaffle),
• Suwaji (modern sandwich),
• Soekamto (bakery display),
• Cecep Cahyadi (chocolate praline & petit four)
• Iwan Dharmawan (western salmon live)
• Ida Rosida (cake decoration)

From the 7 contestants, ACS Jakarta succeeded in winning three medals through Cecep Cahyadi (gold), Purbo Waluyo (silver), dan Iwan Dharmawan (bronze).

This success shows that ACS Jakarta's Chefs are in par with chefs from 5 star hotels in Jakarta and also proofs that ACS Jakarta always serves quality food prepared by quality Chefs.

This achievement is possible through the hard work of all ACS Jakarta's staff, particularly the Kitchen staff, including the Executive Chef and also through the support of ACS Jakarta's Management.
